First Day of Sunday School
Sunday, September 15th

 

Greetings, beloved families!

 

I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer, and a positive start to the new school year! Our Sunday School teachers are excited and ready to get our youth back into our beautiful classrooms at St. Sophia’s.  As we work together to pursue a deeper understanding of our faith, we will undoubtedly have a rich and meaningful year together.

 

Sunday School will begin on September 15th immediately following communion. Students should proceed to the lower social hall to meet their teachers and move into their classrooms. Sunday School will end promptly at 11:45 each Sunday. There will also be a Meet & Greet at 12:00 p.m. following Sunday School on September 15th.

 

Please make a family commitment to regularly attend church. Discuss with your children the importance of attending Divine Liturgy on time and taking a vital interest in their spiritual life. Also, it is most important to start the year off with good attendance. This often insures regular attendance for the rest of the year.

 

You may pre-register your child by downloading and completing the paper registration form. Completed paper forms may be returned to the church office or brought to class on Sunday, September 15th. For your convenience there is an online version provided with the link below. You will also have the opportunity to register your child on the first day of Sunday School at the Meet & Greet. I will have printed copies of the form available.

 

Please ensure your child is registered for the upcoming year, as we are ordering new materials for all of the individual students, and we want to ensure everyone has been counted and provided for!
